Exhibit at the Beverly Hills ArtSHOW

Richard is proud to announce that he will be participating in the Beverly Hills artSHOW on the weekend of May 18 & 19.

Representing the Los Angeles Art Association, he will be featuring several new pieces along side fellow artist Hung Viet Nguyen.  This free art show will be an exciting event with over 250 local and regional artists.  Marking their 40th Anniversary, the organizers are expecting over 35,000 attendee’s for this weekend event.

Location:

Beverly Gardens Park is located along Santa Monica Blvd., from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive. Free all-day parking is available during the artSHOW at the City’s 450 N. Crescent Drive parking structure, conveniently located directly across from the Show grounds.

“Radical Stimulus” at the 825 Gallery

May 4th – May 29th, 2013

Richard will have two pieces featured in the exhibit, “Radical Stimulus” – An all media exploration of the role of chemical reaction (literally or figuratively) in contemporary art practice. Chemical reactions are found in most things, basic life processes, technology, geology, food, and of course culture. Many artists casually employ chemical reactions in their ongoing art-making (painting, ceramics, glassmaking), others employ chemical reaction less obviously. This exhibit challenges artists to better consider their art making process through a willful understanding of the chemical reactions at play in their work. Juried by Timothy Yarger of Timothy Yarger Fine Art, Beverly Hills.
